Looking into the subject of ATC's

Hey All,

I have been collecting Trading Cards of Television series for a while (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Charmed) and movies (Harry Potter). There's this point of money, right. These cards usually cost a lot of money! For now I have stopped collecting these cards. Maybe I'll start collecting them again once I have really spending money for it.

A couple of months ago I heard about this phenomenon called Artist Trading Cards (ATC's). These are handmade cards by a lot of people (artists) and can only be exchanged for free. This is an interesting concept. I have seen a lot of examples and, thanks to the scrapbooking industrie, I have now easy possibilities to make these cards by my self with just a few things. And it's fun too, cause you can trade them and see the work of others too. I might pick up this hobby when I can spend a fairly good number of hours on scrapbooking a week so that I can achieve my goal of a "Page-a-Week". I hereby make the vow that I will not start with making ATC's only until I have managed to save at least a few hours a week (one hour a day?) for scrapping! What do you think of that?

Which brings me to the subject of Scrapping. I have made a few pages again. I can't show them to you yet, due to the fact that I forgot to take pictures of the pages and James has the digital camera with him right now to make photos of the boat. So, I'll show them to you tonight!

I'll be glad once we've made my scrapcloset so that I can really start scrapping without having to clean up the mess in my room first, or having to clean up everything again, because I was scrapping at the dinertable. Do you have any tips for my scraproom? I have been looking into the subject, but it seems I see something new and useable every day. I have to try to maintain a focus for my room...... which isn't easy at all!

Well, talk to you later. I'm going to look for more solutions for scraprooms!

Regards,
Ilse

Contact with another specialist......

Hey all,

Well, I spoke another specialist last friday. One who is specialised in allergies. He confirmed my asthmatic problems could very well have their base in my allergies. In fact, they check people who have been very tired on a more then regular basis, to see if they have asthmatic problems. And guess what? I have been tired for more then a year, but I thought it was caused by my RSI-problems and the myomen........ But is this indeed correct? Or did I already have these asthmatic problems, but was it just something I couldn't recognise? I don't know. What I do know is that I have been given another prescription with yet other medication. This should work better and hopefully I will have more energy again! Yeah for me!

This is it for now. Talk to you later!
