Redoing Scraproom, part 1

Hey all,

Well, it's finally that time. I managed to clear everything out of my room yesterday and I started tearing don the wallpaper. At first it looked like it was going to be easy. Lesson # 1, never go for the first impression! James and I continued to tear down the wallpaper this morning and we discovered that the previous owners of our house have had 6 different wallpaper on top of eachother on the wall....... Result? We're still busy tearing down the wallpaper. We hope we'll have it finished by the end of the afternoon. A fools hope? I hope not!

Hoi Allemaal,

Eindelijk is het dan zover. Ik heb het gisteren voor elkaar gekregen om mijn kamer leeg te krijgen. Vervolgens ben ik begonnen met het eraf halen van het behang. Het leek in het begin goed te gaan. Maar ja, daarna...... Eerst kwam Maik nog op bezoek, dus zijn we gisterenavond niet meer veel verder gegaan aan de kamer. Vanochtend zijn we er dus maar weer echt tegenaan gegaan. De eerste les die ik over behangen inmiddels heb geleerd? Ga nooit af op de eerste indruk! De vorige bewoners bleken zes lagen behang over elkaar te hebben gedaan! We zijn nu dus nog bezig met het eraf halen van alles. We hopen er vandaag aan het eind van de middag mee klaar te zijn. De hoop van een zot? Ik hoop het niet!
