Bloodwork and having to be sober: not suitable for me

Hey all,

I went to the hospital last Tuesday to have my blood taken for tests. For these tests I had to be sober, meaning no drinking (besides some water and tea without sugar) and no eating. Well, this shouldn't be too hard, right? You're right about that. Not eating and not drinking is not too hard. The only problem is that I'm used to eating about 06:00h in the morning and they couldn't take blood sooner then 08:45h. Before I was doen it was three hours after my normal eating time. And when I eat too late (or too little) I get a headache. And this it was no different. I've had something to eat, right after they took my blood. The headache still came, but seemed to be managable. But then I had a meeting from 12:00h until 13:30h and afterwards no time to eat. And so I ended up with a raging headache. And unfortunately it's still not over. It's managable now (mind you with painkillers), but I can work........ I hope I don't have to have my blood taken for tests again any time soon.

As for the rest, I'm still working :) And tomorrow, James and I are going to a zoo here in the Netherlands (Diergaarde Blijdorp). I'm looking forward to that! And of course I'm still working on my SAG-album!

Talk to you later!

Ik krijg ook altijd enorme hoofdpijn als ik erge honger heb. Hopelijk is het vandaag over. groetjes Isolde
