Photo Hunt Theme 54: Steps

Hey all,

I'm participating in the Photo Hunt for the first time! The theme for this week is Steps. Now, you can see this theme in many things. I chose for photos I've used in one of my Italy Layouts. It's about the Tower of Pisa. The day we visited Pisa it was very hot. Although I would have liked to see the view from the top of the tower, I decided no to go, because the tower had several hundreds of steps and I was just not going to take these. So, although you don't actually see any steps on this photo, the whole picture does include the theme for me!

Here's the layout I've made:

And this is the LO with the flap open:

Have Fun!

If you want to know who participates in this hunt, have a look here. If you'd like to participate, please go here.

It's on my list of places to go!

Mine's up too :)

Thanks for stopping by!
Great photos. A different interpretation... really cool. Look forward to seeing you post again!

I don't think I could have conquered the steps, either. Great choice for today, and welcome to the photo hunters!

Welcome to the hunt. My daughter and I visited Florence for two weeks while my brother was performing the opera Othello there. We took a day trip to Pisa and since they let people back into the tower, the girl wanted to go to the top. We let her... our knees wouldn't have taken the climb and yes, that summer was one of the hottest there. Fascinating place.

Welcome to photo hunt!

Cool photos and layouts! How cool it must have been to go there. Some day....

Hey all,

Thanks so much for all your nice comments! I loved to participate in the photo hunt. I'm certainly participating next times! I already have ideas for next week's theme and the theme for the week after that :)

Great scrapbooks! When we were in Pisa, the tower was closed to visitors so we didn't even get the chance to go up :(

Would love to see the Tower of Pisa but no elevator going to the tower? :P Kiddin'. Welcome to Photo Hunt!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! If those steps are anything like the steps in St. Paul's in London, I don't blame you for not going up them!

Mooie LO's van Pisa!! Zou daar ook graag eens naartoe gaan. groetjes Isolde

Mmm, lovely! I've only ever seen the tower from a distance, but I don't think I'd like to go to the top either.

Welcome to Photo Hunt!

I hope one day I would have chance to visit Tower of Pisa.

I've been to Pisa three times and never climbed. Last time you couldn't, verboten.

Welcome to the Photo Hunt! I can't say that I blame you for not wanting to walk up all those stairs in the heat! I don't think I would have either!

That is a great layout, and that is also a lot of steps!!! lol

Happy Saturday, mines up!

welcome to photohunt

Pisa must have been beautiful! Great take on the theme. Welcome to SPH! Hope to see you again next week.

It was very hot the day we visited the tower too and I stayed down below, lol,
Wonderful job for today's theme. Welcome to the hunt!

What an interesting view on the theme

Great pictures and great work. Welcome to Photo Hunters. It's great fun.

If you have time, please check out my pic on My Photo Blog.

Lovely work - don't blame you for not going up those steps. Welcome to the hunt and happy weekend.
